WGST faculty and students sponsor and participate in many events and programs during the year, including:

• Katherine Henry Memorial Lecture on Women's Health
• Women's and Gender Studies Spring Academic Conference
• Book Discussions
• "Films by and about Women" Film Series
• Worcester Women's History Project
• Daybreak Breakfast on Domestic Violence (with the YWCA)

Women's Studies Award

Given to a senior WGST concentrator for:

• academic excellence in Women's and Gender Studies
• development and articulation of a feminist critical consciousness
• engagement demonstrating the link of theory and practice.
