Research interests: Metaphysics and Ontology; Philosophy of Biology; Philosophy of Food

Andrea Borghini received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2007, and his B.A. from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2000. His research covers foundational metaphysical issues (especially particulars, properties, and modality), problems in the philosophy of biology (especially metaphysical questions), and last but not least philosophical issues related to food. Among his current writing projects, a book on the philosophy of David K. Lewis (in Italian, under contract with Carocci editore) and a book covering the principal issues in the philosophy of food.
