Office of Distinguished Fellowships and Graduate Studies

As an institution devoted to undergraduate liberal arts education, Holy Cross has no graduate courses of its own. However, it prides itself on placing its students in the best graduate programs in this country and abroad. Recently, more than half of the College’s students have begun some form of graduate or professional study within two years of graduation.

The Office of Distinguished Fellowships and Graduate Studies serves as a resource for students applying for graduate programs of all kinds. As a major part of this work, it assists students with the application processes for various competitive and prestigious fellowship awards, such as Fulbright, Goldwater, Marshall, Mellon, and Rhodes, among others.

The Director of the Office of Distinguished Fellowships and Graduate Studies is available to individual students to discuss their ideas, projects, and plans and consults on the best way to present these in applications. For other individual assistance, the office refers students to one of the departmental graduate studies advisors.
