The Biology Major's Handbook
Overview: The 40 page handbook contains useful information for Holy Cross biology majors and for prospective students. Much of the information is also to be found at the Department's website which is generally somewhat more up-to-date since the handbook is revised each year and the website is constantly updated. Nevertheless, the handbook has the advantage of being in an easily printable format. The handbook features the following sections:
- Departmental Curriculum -- requirements for the major, course descriptions, and information about related programs such as the biochemistry and biological psychology concentrations and the environmental studies and premedical programs
- Special Programs: information on research, internship and educational opportunities at Holy Cross and other locations.
- Extracurricular Activities specifically for biology majors.
- Faculty Research Interests, Offices and Contact Information
- A Bibliography of Books and Articles of Interest to Biologists
