Community Based Learning

As stated by Donelan Office:

"Engaged learning opportunities at Holy Cross link the College's commitment to social justice with an emphasis on the central role of critical reflection in intellectual growth. In community-based courses and programs, students actively consider questions of moral, ethical, and civic responsibility in off-campus settings that bring to life the theoretical concepts and disciplinary skills they encounter in the classroom."

Students in ASL/Deaf program do just that; making connections with deaf people in the community, learning from and with each other.
