Asian Studies Concentration
Students may elect a Concentration in Asian Studies in conjunction with any major. To elect a Concentration in Asian Studies, download the "Change of Plan" form and a copy of your unofficial transcript from STAR and meet with Professor May Sim, Director of Asian Studies, your advisor, and then with Professor Susan Cunningham, Associate Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary and Special Studies (CISS) for signatures and advising. Students are normally expected to declare the Concentration by the second semester of their junior year.

China Track |
| History 103, "Perspectives on Asia: 'Traditional' East Asia," or History 104, "Perspectives on Asia: Modern Transformations," or Anthropology 170, "Contemporary Asia," OR an approved course with a broad focus on Asia.
Five additional courses on Asia from at least two disciplines or covering at least two sub-regions of Asia, with the following restrictions: no more than two courses in Balinese Dance (Theater) and Gamelan (Music) and no more than two language courses may be counted toward the general concentration in Asian Studies. |

Study abroad at a Holy Cross approved program in Asia may be used to satisfy some requirements towards the Asian Studies Concentrations.
