At its core, the College of the Holy Cross exists to facilitate the discovery or creation of new knowledge and skills and to ensure the dissemination of that knowledge and those skills through teaching, scholarly publication, and artistic exhibition and performance.
Students and faculty members alike contribute in multiple ways to fulfilling this academic mission. Faculty members learn alongside - and even from - their students, while students’ original research often leads to conference presentations and journal articles. As a member of the Holy Cross community, you are a valued participant in the vibrant academic life of the campus.
The many offices that together comprise the Division of Academic Affairs provide students and faculty members with the resources they need to reach their academic goals – and to do so, as the College’s Jesuit tradition dictates, at the highest level of excellence.
